The Opportunity:

We are looking for a hands-on Controller/Financial Analyst who is not only a Master of Accounting Principles but also a sharp analyst and strategic business partner. You will be the financial storyteller for our leadership team, transforming raw data into actionable insights. Your analysis will directly influence our job costing, capital investments, operational efficiency, and long-term financial strategy. Core Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • Develop and manage comprehensive budgets, providing variance analysis and strategic recommendations.
  • Create and maintain detailed monthly and long-term
    financial forecasts
    to support business decisions.
  • Build complex
    profitability and purchase models
    to analyze new ventures, products, or investment opportunities.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), goals, and
    benchmarks
    to track and improve performance.
  • Lead special financial projects as needed to support strategic initiatives.

Cash & Liquidity Management

  • Conduct rigorous
    weekly cash flow analysis
    and reporting to ensure optimal liquidity.
  • Manage all cash inflows and outflows, forecasting both short-term and long-term cash needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve cash conversion cycles and manage working capital effectively.
  • Perform transactional reconciliations to ensure accuracy between accounting records and bank statements

Accounting Operations & Reporting

  • Lead the
    month-end closeout process
    , ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, balance sheets, and other key reports for leadership.
  • Oversee all general accounting functions, including account setup, approvals, and general administration.
  • Report on all company's accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
  • Develop, implement, and optimize accounting
    systems and workflows
    to enhance efficiency and internal controls.

Leadership & Strategy

  • Partner with the executive team to develop and execute the company's overall financial
    strategy and planning
    .
  • Provide insightful financial guidance to support all departments.
  • Manage and mentor finance/accounting team members, fostering a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement.
  • Build out and manage strategic relationships with lenders to allow for growth through financing opportunities.
