Field Technician/Certified Commercial Pesticide Applicator

The Field Technician/Commercial Applicator will lead our field team of mosquito control experts who travel to customer homes to provide recurring outdoor pest control services. Job Description 

The Mosquito Joe Field Technician (Commercial Pesticide Applicator) must maintain current and valid state certifications/licenses to enable the business to service residential and commercial properties.  The Field Technician (Commercial Pesticide Applicator) directly services customer accounts and properties, is responsible for providing world-class customer service, and ensures compliance with all Federal, State and local regulations, in addition to rules detailed on pesticide labels.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Have commercial pesticide applicator certification/license with the State of Michigan for Core and 7F (Mosquito), or be able to obtain said license (we will assist in the certification process)
  • Provide expert advice to customers on outdoor pest control
  • Discuss products and services in a limited capacity directly with interested customers
  • Treat customer properties according to the company guidelines, as well as federal, state and local regulations
  • Provide expert outdoor pest control service to customers
  • Maintain licensing requirements and proficiency to conduct Mosquito Joe services
  • Drive a company vehicle safely, follow all state and local laws and regulations

Education and Experience
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Pest control knowledge
  • Maintain a current and valid commercial pesticide applicator certification/license
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass a background/reference check

Compensation: $ $19.00 per hour
