Position: RN-OR-Operating Room (Travel/Contract)

We're hiring experienced RN-OR-Operating Room for a 13-week contract in Florence, South Carolina — earn up to ($1767 - $1860 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting.
  • Assist in surgical procedures and ensure patient safety.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Maintain sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Contribute to achieving departmental performance targets.
  • Monitor patient vitals and report any changes to the team.
  • Engage in performance evaluations and feedback sessions.
  • Utilize data to assess and improve patient care processes.
  • Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
  • Assist in training new staff and sharing best practices.
  • Foster a positive work environment through teamwork and communication.

Experience/Qualifications

  • Current RN license in South Carolina or compact state.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
  • Experience in an operating room setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient safety protocols.
  • Ability to maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Ability to monitor and interpret patient vitals effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for teamwork and collaboration.
  • Proven ability to document patient care accurately and timely.
  • Willingness to assist in training new staff and sharing best practices.
