Overview
Vantaca is looking for a Senior Data Scientist that wants to work in a high impact, fast-paced team that is ready to make a big impact. This individual will be responsible for helping build data products, uncover valuable business insights, and communicate key discoveries. Your work will drive better decision-making for products and customers. You will develop strong partnerships with stakeholders and work cross-functionally with product management, engineering, finance, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and success.

Responsibilities
Lead a team of data engineers to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes. Define and implement data governance, quality, and security best practices to support business units. Drive initiatives to enhance system reliability, scalability, and performance. Mentor and grow the engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Partner with peers and stakeholders to define and execute roadmaps that can help the function scale. 
Requirements
Lead advanced analytics initiatives to identify market opportunities, customer behaviors, and product optimization strategies.Establish predictive modeling and machine learning capabilities that enhance product features and service delivery.Help foster a culture of analytical rigor and continuous learning. Aid in the development of junior roles.Develop real-time analytics and reporting capabilities that support operational decision-making across the organization.Implement customer segmentation and personalization strategies that directly impact revenue and user engagement.Create high impact learnings that drive the business forwardAbility to understand business needs and deliver on detailed analysis with insights and forward-looking recommendations
Qualifications
Master's degree or PHD preferable with concentration in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related analytical field.2+ years of data science work with demonstrated impact on product development and business outcomesProven track record of using data science to define, enhance, or create analysis in technology-driven organizations.Proficiency in statistical analysisProficiency in data visualization tools such as PowerBIStrong experience with data science tools and platforms including Python, R, and SQLExperience with cloud tools such as Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCPDemonstrated ability to translate complex analytical findings into actionable business recommendations and product strategies.Strong background regression analysis, geospatial analysis, data visualization, and statistical inference methodologies.Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence product and business strategy at executive levels.
