Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary medicine and a passion for animal care. This role involves diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health issues, providing preventive care, and ensuring the overall well-being of our patients. The Veterinarian will work closely with pet owners, support staff, and other veterinarians to deliver high-quality veterinary services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for various medical conditions.
- Perform surgical procedures as necessary, including spaying, neutering, and emergency surgeries.
- Administer vaccinations and medications as prescribed.
- Provide guidance to pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients treated.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
- Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in Veterinary critical care is highly desirable
- Proficiency in dog handling and animal restraint practice
