What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and around its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, conditions, or incidents encountered during patrols to appropriate personnel.
• Assist staff, patients, and visitors with directions and general information as needed.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying authorization, and helping to maintain order within the location.
• Complete detailed reports and logs regarding security-related activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
