Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer/Framer to join our dynamic construction team. This role involves working on various building projects, including residential and commercial structures, and remodeling jobs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in construction sites, possess a strong work ethic, and be eager to contribute to high-quality craftsmanship. This position offers opportunities for skill development across multiple facets of construction, including framing and site management.

Duties

  • Assist with building erection and framing using hand tools and power tools
  • Operate heavy equipment safely for site preparation and material handling
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of projects
  • Install roofing, trim carpentry, drywall, and other finishing elements
  • Support demolition, restoration, and remodeling activities as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and OSHA standards
  • Collaborate with project managers and other trades to meet project timelines and quality standards

Skills

  • Proven experience in construction site environments with knowledge of framing, roofing, and siding
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
  • Experience with woodworking techniques such as trim carpentry and framing carpentry
  • Strong understanding of construction management principles and safety procedures
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods
  • Knowledge of restoration techniques and remodeling processes
  • Excellent teamwork skills coupled with the ability to work independently when required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $30.00 per hour
