Lead Overnight Camp Counselor

Ready to spend your summer guiding activities and supporting fellow counselors? We're hiring Lead Overnight Camp Counselors for campers in grades 3–8 and Lead Leadership Camp Counselors for teens in grades 9–12. In both roles, you'll work closely with your Program Manager to ensure programs run smoothly and safely, mentor and support counselors, assist with planning and coordinating activities, model camp values, and pitch in wherever needed to create a fun, positive, and memorable experience for campers.

DescriptionWhat to Expect
- This is a seasonal summer position, with training beginning in late May and camp running from early June through early August.
- You'll live at camp from Sunday at 5 p.m. through Friday at 5 p.m. each week. Housing and meals are provided while you're on site.
- You'll work with different groups of children throughout the summer, creating unique and rewarding experiences in every session.
- You'll help the Program Manager keep daily activities running smoothly, safely, and enjoyably.
- You'll mentor and support overnight camp counselors, offering guidance, feedback, and encouragement throughout the summer.
- You'll collaborate with the leadership team to plan, adjust, and troubleshoot activities as needed.
What We're Looking For
- At least 21 years old by June 2026 preferred (but not required)
- Experience working with children
- Experience leading a team; formally or peer-based
What We Offer
- $100 bonus for each team member that you refer, is hired, and arrives at camp for staff training
- $250 bonus if you accept our offer of employment before March 1, 2026
- $500 scholarship awarded to one staff member
