About the Role
We are looking for a server/cashier to join our growing front of house team.
The successful candidate should be friendly, highly motivated, and thrive in a fast paced team oriented environment. As the face of our cafe, there is a strong emphasis on creating memorable customer experience. We expect our staff to always greet our guests with a warm welcome, small talk, or joke, and to be happy to tell the stories behind our food, our people, and our place.
Responsibilities
Welcome customers as they enter our shop
Prepare tables with extra attention to cleanliness and order
Answer questions about our menu
Take and serve orders
Comply with all food safety regulations and standards
Maintain a professional, friendly, and positive attitude with coworkers and customers
Skills/Experience
1+ years of customer service or server experience
Excellent communication and people skills
Patience and customer oriented approach
Attention to cleanliness and safety
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to execute assigned tasks
