About the Role
In this role, you'll be responsible for
drafting, reviewing, and negotiating master trading agreements
and related contracts for physical and financial energy transactions. You'll ensure compliance with all internal and regulatory standards — protecting business interests while enabling smooth trading operations.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review & negotiate master trading and ancillary agreements.
Collaborate with Legal, Credit & Operations teams to resolve contract issues.
Maintain and enhance contract templates & databases.
Ensure compliance with credit, treasury, and legal policies.
Support special projects (novations, terminations, or strategic alignments).
Track contract workflows and report status updates.
What You'll Bring
Experience with industry-standard agreements (NGL NAESB, EEI, Gas NAESB, IECA).
Strong understanding of energy, commodities, or derivatives markets.
Excellent command over contractual language and legal nuances.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
Ability to work independently under pressure.
A problem-solving mindset with relentless attention to detail.
