Part-time hourly, non-benefitted position.
Orange Technical College - West Campus is seeking a GED instructor to prepare adult learners to pass the General Education Development (GED) test, providing instruction in subjects such as math, science, social studies, and language arts.
Key Responsibilities
- Instruction Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to the GED curriculum, focusing on the five subject areas of the GED exam writing, math, reading, social studies, and science.
- Assessment Monitor student performance, assess progress, and provide individualized instruction to help students improve their skills and prepare for the GED test.
- Support Create a supportive and motivating learning environment, addressing the unique challenges faced by adult learners.
- Feedback Provide constructive feedback on assignments and track attendance and participation.
- Career Counseling Assist students in planning their educational or career paths after obtaining their GED.
