Youth and Education Coordinator

Position Summary: Responsible for all aspects of operation for the Restorative Practices Intervention school-based programs, including development of programming; curriculum approval; recruitment, direct supervision, and performance management of staff; facilitating trainings and meetings; and approving staff/site scheduling.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Provide coordination and support for Restorative Practices Intervention Specialists at various school sites within different school districts.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and expansion of restorative practice and educational programs in collaboration with the Program Manager and district leadership.
- Oversee and review Incentive and Support Services to ensure alignment with intervention plan goals.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor program delivery, quality assurance, and ethical standards; provide assistance in crisis interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with Program Manager to ensure program spending aligns with the approved budget before approval.
- Compile and submit required data to Program Manager and Data team, including monthly service units, demographics, and other evaluation metrics to facilitate program improvements.
- Represent the organization in meetings with county, district, and community partners, promoting services and advocating for program needs.
- Participate in outreach efforts and community presentations to promote Restorative Practices and educational programming.
- Ensure adherence to policies regarding professional ethics, boundaries, and confidentiality.
- And other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in the field of Human Services, Social Work, Counseling, or related field and/or equivalent years of workplace experience is required. Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in management and/or several years in a lead position providing case management, crisis response, restorative and trauma-informed practices in a school setting is required.
- Must complete a Live Scan Background Check.
- Experience in implementing and scaling up school-based programming and working within contract reporting requirements is preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish or other threshold languages is preferred.

- Knowledge of Evidence Based Practices (EBP) and innovations in Restorative Practices, educational interventions, and other interventions to keep programs competitive and cutting edge.
- Demonstrate initiative, flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
- Demonstrate the ability to successfully work on a range of assignments and prioritize evolving tasks.
- Background Check Requirement: The successful candidate for this position will be required to pass or clear two background checks. The first background check will be conducted by Project Kinship as per our policies and procedures. The second background check will be conducted by Funders through our contracted vendors, after the candidate is hired with Project Kinship, in accordance with our contractual agreements. Failure to pass either of these background checks may result in the withdrawal of the job offer or termination of employment.
- Tuberculosis (TB) Clearance: The successful candidate for this position will be required to provide documentation of a clear TB (tuberculosis) test or shot, in compliance with Project Kinship's policy. Failure to provide proof of TB clearance may result in the withdrawal of the job offer or termination of employment.
