Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Carpenters for projects located in and around Whitestown, IN.  This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Carpenter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career 

Job Scope:

  • Assemble commercial cabinets and fixtures from precut parts using hand and pneumatic tools, based on provided drawings
  • Label and pass on completed products for the next step in the manufacturing process or quality control
  • Other tasks assigned 
Requirements
  • Experience in laminating and assembling cabinets
  • Ability to work with precut parts, laminate, and install pads
  • Proficiency in using tools (drill, table saw, router, chop saw)
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic math
  • Must follow instructions from lead personnel to avoid delays and material waste
  • Must be able to read and understand directions in English (drawings and company info)
  • Fast-paced work, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 60 pounds (with assistance for heavier loads)
  • Ability to work in a loud, dusty environment
