We are currently looking for an Associate Wealth Advisor to join our team. The Associate Wealth Advisor is a client facing role, working with a lead Advisor/ Partner, assisting in all investment and financial planning needs both externally and internally for an assigned book of clients. The candidate should have requisite wealth management experience working with ultra-high net worth private clients.

  • Collaborate with lead advisor to help produce comprehensive financial plans and investment recommendations
  • Generate complicated asset allocation proposals (numerous entities, internal and external assets, transitioning portfolios, etc)
  • Analyze client financial planning data, prepare recommendations, and propose action items based on that data.
  • Review and summarize complex Trust & Estate documents
  • Synthesize client cash flow models to support planning recommendations
  • The ability to grasp complex alternative investment strategies and articulate the value add within portfolio construction.
  • Mentor and share knowledge with colleagues, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience.
  • Holds the CFP designation or in process of obtaining
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related discipline
  • Experience and comfortable reading and understanding trusts and planning techniques
  • Experience with cash flow modeling or other financial planning tools; eMoney preferred
  • "Client-first" mentality with the highest degree of integrity.
  • Thoughtful and detail oriented
  • Problem solving skills, sound business judgment, and result orientated
  • Outstanding analytical and quantitative capabilities
  • Creativity thinking; thinks outside the box and above and beyond conventional wisdom
  • Proficiency in Excel necessary
  • Team Player and excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

This position is exempt and is paid according to the laws of the State of New York. The pay range for this position is $100,000 - $195,000 USD per year. We are required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.

Physical Requirements

  • This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.   • This position may require the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.

U.S. Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. For U.S. employment opportunities, Corient hires U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Exceptions to these requirements will be determined based on shortage of qualified candidates with a particular skill. Corient will require proof of work authorization.
