Surgical Dental Assistant

Eugene, OR

Full-Time | 4-Day Workweek | No Weekends

$22.00 – $28.00 per hour (DOE)

Expected Hours: 40/week (10-hour shifts)

Eugene Periodontics & Implant Dentistry, a respected private periodontal and implant practice, is looking for an experienced Surgical Dental Assistant to join our professional and compassionate team.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist with periodontal and surgical procedures, including extractions, implant placement, bone/soft tissue grafting, sinus augmentation, and biopsies
  • Support IV moderate sedation cases
  • Maintain strict infection control and OSHA compliance
  • Work with Eaglesoft and electronic charting systems
  • Contribute to a collaborative and positive team culture

What We're Looking For:

  • 2+ years of dental assisting experience (surgical preferred)
  • Proficiency with Eaglesoft (preferred)
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
  • Strong communication skills and ability to take initiative
  • Willingness to pursue continued education (DAANCE/AAOMS encouraged)

Requirements:

  • Certified Dental Assistant (CDA)
  • Oregon Radiology Certificate (required)
  • BLS/ALS CPR Certification (required)
  • Must be able to commute to or relocate to Eugene, OR
