Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Chef to lead our culinary team and craft exceptional dining experiences. Duties
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment focused on delivering top-tier food service
- Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to diverse dietary needs and preferences
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring consistency, presentation, and quality across all dishes
- Manage inventory control, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of ingredients
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and sanitation protocols in compliance with health regulations
- Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with precision and professionalism
- Oversee shift management, including scheduling staff, assigning duties, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations during service hours
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fine dining establishments with a strong background in food production and culinary arts
- Demonstrated supervisory experience managing kitchen teams in high-volume settings
- Extensive banquet experience and expertise in catering operations
- Knowledge of dietary department standards and ability to accommodate special dietary requirements
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Proficiency in inventory management, food handling, and kitchen safety practices
- Excellent menu planning skills combined with a solid understanding of the food industry trends
- Experience in restaurant management or food service management is highly desirable
- Familiarity with bartending and beverage service can be an added advantage
- Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
