We have an opening for a Community Outreach Manager (Sales) who can answer yes to these questions. Sales experience in the health care or home care industry is required. This role is responsible for developing strong relationships with referral sources that will generate client referrals for home care services. This is an outside sales position that requires daily face-to-face sales calls with referral sources. The Sales Professional must develop and execute sales plans that generate high-value clients. The ideal candidate for the Sales Professional position has a proven track record of generating new business in the home care industry or in the healthcare or senior care industry and has established relationships that can start generating new business immediately.
Qualifications:- Minimum two years of marketing and sales experience in health care or home care, working with the elderly, disabled or individuals requiring supportive services
- Have current business relationships with health care providers and home care referral sources (must provide a list)
- Proven ability to meet sales goals
- Exemplary communication skills, both verbal and written, including experience with public speaking and giving presentations to small groups
- Proficiency in computer skills (Google Suite, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
- A passion for senior care and client service
- Ability to establish rapport and build trust both with agency staff as well as with referral sources and prospective clients
- A desire to take a leadership role in growing the business
- Self-motivated and ability to thrive with minimal direct supervision
- Superior customer service skills and organizational skills
- Well-honed time management skills
- Develop and execute the annual marketing and sales plan to meet business development goals (new clients). Actively utilize the plan as a working tool.
- Establish and maintain relationships with varied referral sources, including hospital case managers, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing/rehab facilities, home health agencies, hospices, physicians' offices, elder law attorneys, aging life care managers, etc.
- Develop a visitation schedule and complete daily face-to-face sales calls (up to 15 per week) with existing and new referral sources for purposes of generating business leads.
- Represent the agency and organize/conduct presentations at community events, networking events, vendor and trade fairs to enhance our visibility in the community and generate new relationships and business opportunities.
- Maintain sales and marketing data in the CRM/Axis Care databases
- Provide content for social media posts to the Social Media Coordinator
- Submit a weekly report of the following data: Number of hours spent marketing; Number of face-to-face sales calls made; Number of PR/marketing events attended; Number of new referrals obtained
Compensation includes base salary and bonus/commission component, depending upon experience and results.
Use of company car (as applicable)
