About The Role
We're looking for a customer-focused Universal Banker II to join our team. This position plays a key role in providing excellent service, supporting branch operations, and ensuring compliance. You'll handle both personal and business accounts, process complex transactions, and serve as a trusted resource for customers. You'll also mentor newer Universal Bankers, contribute to business development, and promote bank products and services that meet customer needs.

What You'll Do

  • Open and maintain consumer, business, and trust accounts (including CDs and IRAs)
  • Assist customers with Online Banking, Bill Pay, debit cards, and mobile banking
  • Process wire transfers and ensure compliance with documentation requirements
  • Support consumer loan applications and basic lending functions
  • Balance ATMs, manage night drop and safe deposit box procedures
  • Respond to customer inquiries in person, by phone, and through call queues
  • Promote bank products and services through needs-based conversations
  • Perform branch opening/closing and maintain security and compliance standards
  • Provide mentoring and support to Universal Banker I team members
  • Conduct quality control reviews of new account activity for accuracy
  • Provide teller support as needed

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred
  • 5 years of retail banking experience (required)
  • Previous leadership or mentoring experience within a branch setting
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic banking systems

Ability to pass a background check * Knowledge of banking regulations, products, and services
