About Burgos Behavior
Burgos Behavior provides neurodivergent affirming, trauma-informed behavior consultation for children and adults with developmental disabilities. Our team is direct, authentic, and committed to improving systems, not maintaining average ones.
Role Overview
This position offers a varied caseload across day programs, residential homes, social skills groups, and caregiver training. The work includes both direct and indirect services, with indirect time focused on meaningful program design, data systems, visual supports, etc. Behavior Consultants collaborate across programs, plan together, and contribute ideas to improve systems and outcomes.
Caseload and Billable Expectations
Monthly billable expectation: 120 hours
This is not an insurance-based three-tier model.
Caseloads are structured to balance direct and indirect time.
Indirect work includes designing visuals, data systems, and training materials, not only report writing.
Most adult services emphasize skill building, independence, and quality of life over behavior reduction alone. We have many blog posts on how we deliver adult services here.
Schedule
4 in-person days and 1 remote workday
Manteca Office: 2 evenings per week until 6:45 PM for social skills groups
Regional travel (Calaveras, Amador, Tuolumne counties): 1 to 2 times per month for consultation and training

Lead or co-lead social skills groups in the Manteca office.
Collaborate with treatment teams and train direct support staff in practical interventions. Develop creative, accessible materials for training.
Maintain ethical standards, documentation, and data accuracy.

BCBA certification that is active and in good standing
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Reliable transportation and valid auto insurance for regional travel

Salary: $88,000 annually
Full-time, 40 hours per week
6 weeks vacation annually, nine paid holidays, 1 week sick leave
Mileage reimbursement
Medical insurance, dental and vision insurance, retirement plan, and ongoing professional development opportunities
