Redtech is helping our client with a Contractor search for a Project Manager  - Software DeliveryProject Manager  - Software DeliveryApprox start date – Late December 2025/early Jan 2026Duration – 1 year with extensions likelyLocation – Mostly remote with occasional need for onsite work in Downtown Seattle, WA (Local candidates required)Eligibility – We are not able to offer any type of sponsorship. No 3rd party candidatesContract Pay Rate  - $9350 -$11,050/month ($55 -65/hr W2) DOE – this range assumes full benefits ***Please note: target is the mid the pay rangeBenefits – (all are based on eligibility)Choice of 2 Medical/RX insurance plans from Premera (Blue Cross/Blue Shield national network)Paid Time Off (PTO)401(k) plan with company matchCompany paid Life/AD&D insurance for employees who participate in medical insuranceThe Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering software projects on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. This role requires strong technical understanding of software development and QA processes, as well as the ability to lead cross -functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.Key Responsibilities• Manage end -to -end project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, and resource alignment.• Coordinate across development, QA, product management, and business analysis teams.• Ensure adherence to Agile practices and facilitate ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, estimation sessions).• Monitor project progress using velocity, throughput, and burndown charts; identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.• Oversee quality assurance milestones and ensure testing phases are completed on schedule.• Prepare and deliver executive -level reporting and stakeholder updates.Required Knowledge & CompetenciesProject Management• Familiarity with PMBOK Guide and PMI best practices (PMP certification not required).• Experience managing software development projects and Agile delivery frameworks.• Previous experience as a Scrum MasterTechnical & Process Understanding• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and QA/testing phases: Unit, Integration, System, UAT, Performance, and Security testing.• Understanding of code management concepts (e.g., pull requests).• Familiarity with testing activities: test planning, test case development, bug identification and reporting.• Ability to interpret and calculate metrics such as velocity, throughput, and burndown charts for both development and QA.Tools & Technologies• Excel: Advanced skills including pivot tables, charts, and formulas.• Jira: User story workflows, advanced roadmap, dependency mapping.• Confluence & SharePoint: Documentation and collaboration.• Familiarity with Clarity for reporting (preferred but not required).Agile Practices• Proficient in Agile ceremonies: backlog grooming, sprint planning, estimation (poker/pointing sessions).• Understanding of dependency mapping and advanced Jira features.Reporting• Ability to create and present reports for executive leadership, project teams, and business stakeholders.• Familiarity with executive reporting styles and dashboards.Preferred Qualifications• PMP or CSM certification.• Experience with enterprise -level software delivery projects.• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.Performance MetricsOn -time delivery of projects within scope and budget.Stakeholder satisfaction and quality compliance.Effective use of Agile metrics for continuous improvement.
