Description

Are you passionate about cars and skilled in providing exceptional customer service? We're looking for a Parts Counterperson to join our team In this role, you'll assist both customers and technicians in locating and purchasing the correct parts needed for repairs and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and service technicians in a professional and friendly manner
  • Identify and locate the correct parts using catalogs and computer systems
  • Provide pricing, availability, and product information
  • Process orders, returns, and warranty claims accurately
  • Maintain stock levels and participate in inventory control
  • Assist with receiving and organizing incoming parts shipments
  • Communicate effectively with the service and sales departments to ensure timely delivery of parts
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in an automotive parts department is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of automotive components and systems
  • Familiarity with parts lookup and dealership software (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
