2026 Summer Internship

This role will be based out of the Outpost, our Portland, Oregon office.

The application window will be open until November 7 or until we reach our cap of 100 applicants. Between November 10 and December 8, we will review applications and move selected candidates through our interview process with the goal of having all interns identified no later than the end of the year.

About the TCCA Summer Intern Program:

Tillamook County Creamery Association (TCCA)'s Summer Internship Program is a 10 to 12-week program for graduate and undergraduate students to join the Tillamook team to connect to our 115-year-old heritage. Our interns play a significant role in solving real-world business challenges and enjoy bites of our ice cream, cheese and beloved dairy products every step of the way. As a farmer-owned cooperative, we invite interns to visit the farms of our farmer-owners so they can see what cow care, environmental stewardship and the daily operations of a dairy farm look like, up close. In addition to the farm tour, we host multiple enriching experiences throughout the duration of the program, that include being an honorary Tillamook taste bud for the day with our immersive cheese and ice cream tastings, "college-inspired" cooking class with our executive chef, resume & interview workshop, sales market tours and so much more

This role is based out of the Outpost, our Portland, Oregon office.

What you will do:

Our Distribution Intern will be focused on the total cost to serve the business. This includes collaboration with transportation, sales, and finance to understand our total cost to serve our customers.

Here's a day in the life:

In this role, your day is centered around strategic collaboration with cross-functional partners, with a strong focus on the distribution network within the supply chain. You'll start your day by connecting with key teams—Sales, Customer Service, and Supply Chain—to gather and organize data that informs our operations.

Throughout the day, you'll analyze trends, identify opportunities, and help translate data into actionable insights. Your work plays a critical role in supporting our team's commitment to data-driven decision-making. By keeping a pulse on performance and ensuring alignment across departments, you help keep our distribution network running efficiently and effectively.

This role is more than just numbers—it's about connecting the dots, asking the right questions, and helping the team stay on track toward our shared goals.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program and not due to graduate the semester prior to the internship

• Currently studying Logistics, Supply Chain or other similar field of study

• Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel

• Previous experience with organizing and manipulating large data sets, specifically from a financial lens
