Server

We are looking for a candidate that will be responsible for arriving to work on time and presentable to the standards of the management team. You will also be responsible for walking the guest through an exceptional dining experience and ensuring the needs of the guests are met with warmth and hospitality. Servers are also responsible for but not limited to the daily set up and breakdown of the restaurant as well as cleanliness and maintenance throughout the shift.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Prepare floor for each service: Polish silver ware and glasses, align tables and place settings, set service stations, ensure dining room is clean and ready to receive guests
  • Retrieve and stock wine for each service period
  • Attend and actively participate in daily pre-shifts
  • Work together with bar and support staff to facilitate guest experience
  • Closing and recovery duties to ensure restaurant is ready for next service
  • Possessing and utilizing knowledge of all offered restaurant menus

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $2.13 - $7.25 per hour

  • Fine dining restaurant

  • 6-8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dallas, TX 75201: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

  • Hands on experience in cashier duties

Qualifications

  • High School diploma is a plus but not required
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of POS Systems
  • Elevated food knowledge
  • Elevated wine and beverage knowledge
  • Able to lift at least 35 lbs
  • Able to work for extended hours on your feet
  • Must be knowledgeable about all items on the food, cocktail, beer, and wine menu
  • Must be knowledgeable on cook and prep times, menu pairings, and ingredient listings
