Our providers specialize in various ophthalmology and optometry subspecialties including Cornea and Refractive Surgery, Glaucoma, Neuro Ophthalmology, Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, and Vitreoretinal Disease. Our all-inclusive approach ensures our present and future patients receive the best outcome possible.

What you will do:

  • Records patient history while following JCAHPO / M Physicians guidelines
  • Tests and records basic Visual Assessment tasks with patients
  • Assists with testing including Visual Fields, Pupillary Assessments, Lensometry, Keratometry, and supplementary testing
  • Schedules initial and follow-up appointments, including labs
  • Assists with minor procedures and administers eye drops
  • Assists with overall clinic flow and patient satisfaction

What you will need:

  • As a Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT): JCAHPO Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) and two years of clinical experience in Ophthalmology as a COT or COA
  • As a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA):  JCAHPO Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) and two years of clinical experience in Ophthalmology

If selected for hire, compensation and job classification will be individually determined based on a candidate's specific background, including licensure, certifications, and experience level.

Location: Phillips-Wangensteen Building - 516 Delaware Street SE Minneapolis, MN 55455

Hours: 40 hours/week

Sign-On Bonus: Bonus may be available to qualified applicants
