You contribute to our success. Every role has an impact on our patients' lives and you have the opportunity to make a difference. We are looking for a dedicated Mental Health Technician like you to be a part of our team.

• Demonstrates the knowledge and skill to provide nursing care to the psychiatric patient under the direction of the RN.

• Works as a member of a team to assist with milieu management and performs job tasks to ensure personal, patient and departmental safety.

• Communicates professionally and effectively with staff, physicians, management, external and internal customers. Ensures timely and accurate communication of patient information with all members of the treatment team.

• Leads or Co-Leads the following groups: AM goal setting, PM wrap-up and diversionary.

• Assists Charge Nurses and Shift Supervisor in maintaining efficiency.

• Completes clerical responsibilities.

• Adheres to policies and procedures. Supports the Mission of the facility.

• Pursues and takes responsibility to enhance personal and professional growth.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Interv Inst, or Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
