Client Details

My client is a leading supplier of metal components, primarily serving the aerospace & defense field. Under the umbrella of a well-known, leading global manufacturing organization, they are provided the resources and guidance to take their capabilities to the next level. Due to exciting growth, they seek an experienced Engineering Manager to drive improvements and upgrades to their facility.

Description

  • Align engineering initiatives with business goals and operational plans
  • Oversee reviews of customer specifications and ensure manufacturability
  • Lead capital projects including equipment upgrades and facility improvements
  • Apply CAD/CAE tools to analyze processes and optimize layouts
  • Define process capabilities, tolerances, and cycle times
  • Drive cost-reduction and continuous improvement efforts, utilizing LEAN & Six Sigma methodologies
  • Provide technical support across departments and to external stakeholders
  • Mentor and develop engineering talent

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field
  • Prior experience in precision machining operations
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering leadership
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality systems
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools and project management
  • Proven track record leading cost savings/efficiency improvement initiatives

Job Offer

  • Base salary ranging from $130,000 to $145,000 USD, depending on experience.
  • 5% annual bonus target based on site/personal performance.
  • 3 Weeks PTO + 10 company holidays.
