Job Overview

Are you a certified personal trainer or coach who is looking to do what you do, the way you want to do it, in a space that lets you create a successful business the way you want it? 360 Fitness in Tumwater Washington is a shared space that allows you to make your own schedule, build your business and train your clients in a semi-private environment shared by other trainers and clients, where you pay a monthly rent to use. We offer affordable gym memberships to our clients with Les Mills Group Fitness included and open gym time to workout when it fits their schedule.

Who we are looking for in you:

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Personal Trainer to join our fitness team as a 1099 contractor. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in physical education, anatomy, and physiology, along with the ability to design personalized fitness programs that cater to individual client needs. As a Personal Trainer, you will play a crucial role in guiding clients towards achieving their health and fitness goals while promoting a positive and encouraging environment.

Duties

  • Conduct one-on-one training sessions with clients to assess their fitness levels and establish personalized workout plans.
  • Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, body mechanics, and safety protocols to prevent injuries.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust training programs as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle choices that complement fitness goals.
  • Lead group fitness classes, fostering an engaging atmosphere for participants of all skill levels.
  • Promote health club services and programs through effective fitness sales strategies.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in fitness, exercise science, and wellness to provide clients with the best possible service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized training environment.

Requirements

  • Certification from a recognized fitness organization is required.
  • Business license
  • Liability insurance
  • Proven experience in gym settings or health clubs as a Personal Trainer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and program design.
  • Experience in group fitness instruction is preferred.
  • Background in sports coaching is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire clients.
  • A passion for helping others achieve their health and fitness goals.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $49, $51,648.00 per year
