Position Overview

We are seeking a Home Technology Systems Technician (Entry to Mid-Level) to join our growing team. This is not a lead technician role. It is a supporting field technician position, working alongside senior technicians to install and service smart home technologies.

Pay Range

$25.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience:

  • $25/hr – Entry-level, no experience
  • $26/hr and up – 1+ years experience
  • Up to $35/hr – 3+ years experience with strong skills

What You'll Do

  • Assist with installing audio/video systems, home theaters, and distributed audio
  • Pull, terminate, and label low-voltage cabling
  • Install and set up lighting control systems (Lutron), motorized shades, and fixtures
  • Install and configure home networks, Wi-Fi systems, and equipment racks
  • Support senior technicians on job sites
  • Troubleshoot basic issues with equipment and wiring
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
  • Work in attics, crawl spaces, mechanical rooms, and outdoor environments

Requirements

Preferred:

  • 1+ year of experience in residential AV, smart home, low-voltage, or related trade
  • We will train the right entry-level candidate

Must Have:

  • Experience with hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to work on ladders and in tight spaces (attics, crawl spaces)
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs
  • Experience on construction sites and knowledge of job-site safety
  • Valid and clean NYS driver's license
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to commute to Southampton, NY daily
  • Willingness to work in NYC when assigned
