What You Will Achieve
- The DP Operations Specialist II is responsible for providing detailed technical training to Drug Product work team colleagues.
- Liaison between work team and maintenance for repairs and preventative maintenance. Develop, maintain and train work team colleagues on operator care task sheets.
- Establish efficient processes, monitoring specific results, and improve identified process opportunities using Right First Time (RFT) and Lean principles.
- Maintain manufacturing equipment at optimal operating efficiency. Assist in identifying problems and solutions using Method 1 and Quality Risk Management (QRM).
- Serve as technical subject matter expert for the work team and Deviation Report Coordinator (DRC) on equipment related deviations.
- Work with engineering by participating in developing equipment specifications, user requirements, capital scope development, FAT/SAT support and qualification activities.
- Work with procurement and packaging engineering to monitor component issues and conduct feasibility assessments/line trials as needed.
- Review non-standard work for technical soundness and may review others' work.
- Adhere to Pfizer standards, guidelines, and values, influencing teams and contributing to developing departmental standards.
- Monitor and respond to equipment needs, adhering to SOPs, cGMPs, and safety requirements.
- Adapt standard methods using knowledge and experience, assist in training others, and improve processes using Right First Time and Lean principles.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 to 5 years of experience and/or training
- Demonstrated ability to perform various functions of a highly repetitive nature while maintaining concentration on tasks
- Proven capability to understand and follow written procedures
- Ability to work independently or in groups effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements):
Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a related field
Strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

The salary for this position ranges from $27,41 to $45,69 per hour. In addition, this position offers eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Company's policies.
