We are seeking a highly detail-oriented
ServiceNow UAT Tester
with hands-on experience in
Integrated Risk Management (IRM)
and
Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)
modules. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and ServiceNow functional teams to plan, execute, and validate
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
activities, ensuring that workflows, risk controls, and compliance processes meet business and regulatory requirements.

This role is critical in verifying that ServiceNow IRM/GRC solutions deliver accurate risk data, effective control management, and seamless user experiences before production deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate
    UAT activities for ServiceNow IRM and GRC implementations
    , upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with business owners, compliance, and IT teams to review requirements and design UAT scenarios for key modules such as:
  • Policy and Compliance Management
  • Risk Management
  • Vendor Risk Management
  • Audit Management
  • Issue Management
  • Develop comprehensive
    UAT test plans, scripts, and traceability matrices
    based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Execute manual and automated test cases to validate workflows, forms, risk scoring, control attestations, and notifications.
  • Ensure accurate data flow and integration between ServiceNow IRM/GRC modules and external systems (e.g., Archer, SAP GRC, or Active Directory).
  • Track, log, and manage defects using
    Jira
    or ServiceNow's testing framework; work closely with developers for resolution.
  • Validate role-based access controls, segregation of duties, and compliance workflows.
  • Participate in test triage sessions and contribute to go-live readiness assessments.
  • Support post-deployment verification and UAT sign-off documentation.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of QA/UAT experience
    , with at least
    2+ years focused on ServiceNow IRM or GRC modules.
  • Strong understanding of
    risk, compliance, audit, and control frameworks
    (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, SOX).
  • Proven experience creating and executing
    UAT scripts, test plans, and defect reports
    .
  • Familiarity with
    ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF)
    .
  • Proficiency in
    Agile/Scrum methodologies
    and tools like Jira or Confluence.
  • Excellent documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with
    ServiceNow Policy and Compliance, Risk, and Audit workflows

  • Exposure to
    IRM reporting and dashboards
    .
  • Basic knowledge of
    ServiceNow scripting
    (UI Policies, Business Rules, or Client Scripts).
  • ServiceNow CSA or CIS-Risk/GRC certification
    preferred.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and audit standards (e.g., NIST 800-53, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, or GDPR).
