Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service, taking orders, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their meal.

Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
  • Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
  • Monitor guest needs throughout their meal, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and assisting with sanitation efforts.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
  • Adhere to all food safety guidelines and regulations during food handling and preparation.
  • Assist with cash handling and basic math calculations during the payment process.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar systems is advantageous.
  • Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is a plus.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
  • Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations is essential.
