Job summary
The Financial Advisor will be at the forefront of driving business growth by developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans. The successful candidate will identify and engage potential clients, build and nurture strong customer relationships, and create compelling marketing campaigns to promote our financial offerings. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual with a passion for sales and a solid understanding of the financial services industry. Must bring a book of business to start with.
Key responsibilities
Marketing & Strategy:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships within the Fixed Income investment sector.
- Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve financial product targets and grow the firm AUM.
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital (email, social media, SEO), events, and direct outreach.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform marketing and sales strategies.
- Translate complex financial products and services into clear, compelling, and client-friendly content for marketing materials, presentations, and sales collateral.
- Collaborate with product development and leadership to provide client feedback and contribute to the evolution of our offerings. Build investment portfolios, monitor and rebalance to meet client objectives
- Ensure accounts are properly funded and resolve administrative issues.
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and leads.
- Assess client needs to recommend suitable financial products.
- Present sales proposals to prospective clients.
- Achieve sales targets.
- Manage client records and sales pipeline using a CRM system.
Client Relationship Management:
- Maintain long-term client relationships.
- Advise clients and provide ongoing product support.
- Ensure ethical conduct and compliance with industry regulations.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Series 65 and preferably CFP designation.
- Minimum 5 years experience in financial services sector preferably in an Investment Advisor / Financial planner role.
- Knowledge of financial products.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with CRM and other sales/marketing tools.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
