Service Writer/Technician

Join our growing team at Advanced Maintenance, a professional and fast-paced truck and diesel repair facility. We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Service Writer who excels at customer service and is comfortable working with computers and shop management software.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the liaison between customers and technicians
- Create, update, and manage repair orders in our software system
- Accurately document customer concerns, repair diagnostics, and services performed
- Schedule service appointments and manage the repair workflow
- Communicate job status, timelines, and estimates to customers
- Review warranties and service contracts for coverage
- Assist with parts ordering and follow-up
- Maintain accurate service records and shop documentation
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a truck, diesel, or automotive service environment a plus
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy shop
- Working knowledge of diesel trucks and service processes a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training a bonus)
