Sales Associate / Front Desk — Bucked Up Fitness

Bucked Up Fitness is looking for a motivated and upbeat Sales Associate to join our front desk team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves connecting with people, and isn't afraid to drive sales. You'll be helping potential members learn what makes our gym different, giving tours, supporting personal training and group fitness growth through referrals, and handling supplement and retail sales. As the first point of contact, you'll set the tone for an exceptional member experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in members and guests, ensuring a friendly and professional experience.
  • Assist with membership sales, general inquiries, and provide facility tours.
  • Promote and sell supplements, retail products, and gym services to increase revenue.
  • Support PT and group fitness by identifying needs and providing assessment referrals.
  • Process transactions and maintain accurate membership and sales records.
  • Keep the front desk area organized, stocked, and aligned with cleanliness standards.
  • Answer phone calls and provide information about gym services and promotions.
  • Support marketing initiatives by promoting gym programs and upcoming events.
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance the overall member experience.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of customer service experience; gym-related experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work closing shifts.
  • Strong, upbeat attitude with excellent communication and multitasking abilities.
  • Sales-driven mindset with confidence in upselling memberships, supplements, and retail.
  • Comfortable handling transactions, membership management, and customer inquiries.
  • Passion for fitness and willingness to learn about all gym services and retail products.
  • Basic computer skills; familiarity with POS systems or gym management software is a plus.

Summary

As a Sales Associate at Bucked Up Fitness, you are the face of the gym. You'll create a welcoming, professional environment while supporting daily operations at the front desk. Reporting to the Front Desk Manager, you'll handle check-ins, assist with membership management, promote products and services, and ensure the front desk is clean, organized, and fully stocked. This position plays a key role in revenue growth and delivering a high-quality member experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
