Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a 13-week contract position. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment within the Cath Lab and Special Procedures unit, providing highly specialized patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the Cath Lab, ensuring safety and comfort throughout procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, technicians, and other healthcare staff.
- Monitor patient vitals and administer medications as needed.
- Take part in typical procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, cerebral angiograms, stent placements, and balloon procedures.
- Act as a critical thinker and adapt to the dynamic needs of the unit.
- Engage in daily huddles and foster relationships with the director, staff, and patients.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- ARRT certification and competency in Special Procedures & GE Innova preferred.
- Experience as a travel RN is favored.
