Automotive Technician
Pay Rate: $19-$30 / Hour
Job Summary:
As a Mid-Level Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles. This role is ideal for technicians who have experience performing routine maintenance and complex repairs and are looking to grow their skills in a professional shop environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on various vehicle systems, including brakes, suspension, electrical, and engine components.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and alignments.
- Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot vehicle issues and recommend necessary repairs.
- Follow manufacturer guidelines and company standards for all repairs and maintenance services.
- Maintain accurate repair records and document all work performed.
- Work collaboratively with team members and service advisors to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure a clean and organized workspace while following all safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of hands-on automotive repair experience.
- ASE certifications or manufacturer-specific training preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license
