Job Summary

Anytime Fitness Blaine is seeking a friendly, organized, and sales-oriented Gym Manager to lead daily operations and create an exceptional member experience. This is not a personal training role. No certification is required. The ideal candidate enjoys talking with people, driving membership growth, keeping a clean facility, and running the club like a business. You will manage all aspects of member communication, basic marketing, and day to day operations.

Schedule & Pay

  • $25 per hour to start

  • $500-$2000 per monthly bonuses based on membership

  • Increases to $30 per hour after one year

  • 35–40 hours per week

  • Monday through Friday, 10am to 6pm

  • Weekends optional during busier seasons

  • Training provided by current manager through December 1 (transition on good terms)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the gym and maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment

  • Handle all new member follow-up: voicemail, email, text, and in-club conversations

  • Create social media posts, basic marketing content, and in-club promotions

  • Respond to member feedback, surveys, and general customer service inquiries

  • Develop fun member challenges and engagement initiatives

  • Maintain a strong floor presence by talking with members throughout the day

  • Perform cleaning duties, including bathrooms, equipment, and common areas

  • Manage basic administrative tasks: memberships, billing questions, office duties

  • Support overall profitability of the club through sales, retention, and consistent execution

  • Optional weekend coverage during peak seasons

Experience

  • Prior experience in customer service, sales, office admin, or hospitality preferred

  • Strong communication skills and comfort speaking with members throughout the day

  • Ability to create simple marketing content (social media posts, flyers, promotions)

  • Organizational skills with attention to detail and time management

  • Experience with POS systems, basic computer tasks, and responding to customer inquiries

  • Familiarity with fitness environments is helpful, but training certification is not required
