Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute lesson plans aligned with state standards and curriculum guidelines to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Employ a variety of teaching methods and instructional resources to enhance student understanding and engagement in math concepts.
  • Use assessment data to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to support individual learning needs and goals.
  • Create a classroom atmosphere that is conducive to learning and supports the emotional and social development of students.

Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field is required; a master's degree is preferred.
  • Valid teaching certification for middle school mathematics is essential.
  • Strong understanding of middle school math concepts and curriculum standards.
  • Previous experience in teaching mathematics at the middle school level is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire students and collaborate with colleagues and parents.
  • Proficient in using technology to support teaching and enhance student learning.
