Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our retail location. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing a team, ensuring efficient store operations, and driving sales performance while maintaining high standards of merchandising and inventory management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Oversee daily store operations, including staffing, scheduling, and training of new employees.
  • Manage inventory control processes, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and merchandising products.
  • Conduct interviews and participate in the recruitment process to build a strong team.
  • Handle payroll processing and bookkeeping tasks to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Implement effective marketing strategies to promote store initiatives and increase sales.
  • Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems for transactions and cash handling procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures while ensuring a safe shopping environment.
  • Analyze retail math to manage budgets, pricing strategies, and sales performance metrics.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and team management.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager with supervisory experience.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence others effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and merchandising.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred for effective communication with diverse customers.
  • Proficient in cash handling, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks.
  • Solid understanding of customer service principles and retail sales strategies.
  • Ability to manage time effectively while prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership qualities with a focus on training & development of team members.
