What You'll Do
- Complete comprehensive patient assessments and create personalized, goal-oriented treatment plans
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy interventions in an outpatient setting to patients of all ages, including geriatrics
- Collaborate closely with physicians, PTs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, holistic care
- Educate patients and families to promote independence, self-care, and long-term success
- Participate in case management and develop strategies that support patients' daily function
- Use medical terminology, clinical reasoning, and imaging reports to guide treatment decisions
- Keep detailed and accurate documentation of care, progress, and outcomes
- Stay up to date with best practices, new research, and clinical guidelines
- Take part in mentorship meetings, training opportunities, and ongoing skill development
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and basic imaging interpretation
- Experience in outpatient settings (preferred)
- Confidence in providing patient care, treatment planning, and case management
- Familiarity with the needs of geriatric patients and aging populations
