As a Security Guard - Media Patrol Driver in Morrisville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology-focused location, you will conduct regular patrols to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and strong customer service skills will help promote a positive atmosphere for everyone onsite. This position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal's driver policy, as your responsibilities will involve driving while on patrol. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location.
• Perform regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Report security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors with inquiries or directions as needed.
• Work collaboratively with site management and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment.
• Participate in emergency response activities as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
