Overview
Seeking an Azure Security Administrator with deep expertise in Microsoft cloud security, identity management, and infrastructure hardening. You will focus on identity and access management, endpoint protection, and threat detection that is critical for maintaining compliance and security for highly regulated industry.
Mandatory:
- Microsoft Azure, including Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, and Azure Policy
- Entra ID, including Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), RBAC
- Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and DNS/DHCP
- Microsoft Intune for endpoint and mobile device management
Preferred:
- Certifications - AZ-500, AZ-104, SC-300
- Experience with Terraform, Bicep, and / or scripting via PowerShell or Azure CLI
- Experience with Kubernetes security and cloud-native threat detection
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of IT experience with 3+ years in Azure cloud security administration
- Secure cloud infrastructure and enforce compliance in regulated environments
Responsibilities:
- Administer & secure Azure services including VMs, VNets, NSGs, firewalls, storage
- Manage identity and access controls using Entra ID and federation protocols
- Lead incident response and threat detection using Defender for Cloud and Sentinel
- Automate infrastructure tasks and enforce compliance using IaC and policy tools
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
