We currently have a career opportunity for an Associate Consultant to join our Appian Practice.

Want to expand your understanding of building Appian applications within an Agile based delivery methodology? Perficient is looking for an Appian Associate Technical Consultant to join the team.

Usually a major in computer science, engineering or an engineering degree with programming coursework and an interest in being a software developer, the Associate Technical Consultant builds world class software applications for some of the country's largest companies.

Perficient's Associate Technical Consultants utilize top technologies including Appian, ServiceNow, Pega Systems, SalesForce and others build and implement software solutions to solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver application design and build activities within an Agile delivery methodology.
  • Designing, coding and unit/integration testing within a team structure
  • Debugging and troubleshooting code related issues/defects
  • Producing client deliverables such as detailed design documentation, unit test plans and well documented code
  • Gaining an understanding of the unique business and technical requirements on each engagement to facilitate the most appropriate solution design
  • Practicing strong configuration management and version control
  • Representing Perficient professionally in both client and team situations
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum/XP environment a plus

Qualifications

  • Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or other technology related studies from accredited university
  • Knowledge of current technologies, application software development, Agile and iterative development methodologies
  • Proficient in leveraging AI technologies to drive innovation, support strategic initiatives, and enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Possesses a strong understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and ethical considerations.
  • Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Flexible to new situations and challenges
  • Prefer candidates that have the ability to travel up to 50 percent

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $52,300 to $78,015. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
