Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Leader to oversee our kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, with a passion for culinary excellence and team leadership. As the Kitchen Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality food preparation, maintaining kitchen safety standards, and fostering a positive work environment for all staff members.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service.
  • Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
  • Inventory on a daily/weekly basis
  • Train and develop staff in cooking techniques, food handling, and customer service skills.
  • Fill staffing needs/helping cook on their stations.
  • Implement budgetary controls to manage kitchen expenses effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety standards.
  • Supervise daily kitchen operations, including shift management and scheduling.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages creativity and innovation.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting is essential; fine dining experience is a plus.
  • Strong background in kitchen management, including supervising staff and managing food production.
  • Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and financial management within the food industry.
  • Familiarity with training & development practices to enhance team performance.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Prior experience in hospitality management or restaurant management is highly desirable.

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour
