Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Tri-Axle Dump Truck Driver to support construction, roadwork, and aggregate hauling operations. The ideal candidate will operate a tri-axle dump truck safely and efficiently while maintaining professionalism on job sites and public roadways.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate tri-axle dump trucks to transport aggregate, asphalt, dirt, stone, and construction materials
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
  • Safely load and unload materials at job sites, quarries, and asphalt plants
  • Maintain accurate daily logs, tickets, and delivery documentation
  • Follow dispatch instructions, job site rules, and safety protocols
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, foremen, and site supervisors
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned equipment
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety policies

Qualifications

  • Valid CDL Class A or Class B (required)
  • Minimum 2 years of dump truck or heavy equipment hauling experience preferred
  • Experience operating tri-axle dump trucks strongly preferred
  • Clean or acceptable MVR and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen
  • Knowledge of local routes, construction zones, and job site safety
  • Ability to work extended hours, early mornings, weekends, and overtime as required
  • Ability to climb in and out of trucks and lift up to 50 lbs
