Intake Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Intake Specialist to support the initial stages of client engagement at our personal injury law firm. This full-time, in-person role is ideal for someone with strong organizational and communication skills, legal knowledge, and a passion for helping others.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial interviews to gather personal injury case details.
- Maintain accurate client records using systems like Case Peer and Lead Docket.
- Assist attorneys with legal research and case preparation.
- Organize and file case documents efficiently.
- Support attorneys and paralegals with workflow and communication.
- Perform administrative tasks including data entry and transcription.
- Use legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
- Ensure compliance with legal standards and firm policies.
Qualifications
- Experience in a law office, preferably in personal injury or related fields.
- Strong interviewing and client communication skills.
- Proficiency in document management systems.
- Knowledge of immigration, social security, and workers' compensation law is a plus.
- Excellent writing and proofreading abilities.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple cases.
- Team-oriented and self-motivated.
- Fluency in Spanish or Russian is a major plus, enhancing communication with a diverse client base.

Pay: $ $24.00 per hour
