Dynamic Motor Controls, Inc. is a UL 508A, 698A panel shop specializing in the manufacturing of industrial control panels.

Job Summary:

Perform point to point wiring and metal fabrication for electrical control panels. Work from engineering drawings and schematics. Must have basic knowledge of standard wiring procedures which include proper wire routing, stripping, crimping of lugs, torque terminal blocks per specification & proper wire termination. Willing to work as a team, and/or individual. Speed, accuracy, aesthetics, cleanliness, and diligence are aspects looked at when evaluating the wiring inside control panel cabinets.

Essential Functions:

  • Utilize hand, hydraulic, and power tools to perform work.
  • Ability to strip, crimp pins to wires and connect to housings, install hardware where needed.
  • Using a Multimeter and other test equipment, perform evaluations of electrical assemblies for continuity, current, functionality, and voltage.
  • Read and understand schematics, follow written and verbal procedures, and adapt to new processes.
  • Must possess the ability to perform any assembly task/duties.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • A strong ability to work with others.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/ Skills:

  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical assembly schematics.
  • Familiarity with assembly tools and ability to read unit of measurements.

Physical Demands:

  • Hand/eye coordination.
  • Manual dexterity.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. on occasion
  • Regularly required to sit or stand, bend and reach.

Education/ Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Compensation:

  • $ per hour based on experience, 40 hours per week & overtime as required.
  • $400 Monthly Employee Performance Bonus if deadlines are met.
  • $300 Monthly contribution towards DMC sponsored healthcare plans (after 90-day probationary period).
  • Eligible for Bonuses (after 90-day probationary period) if production goals are met.
  • 40 Hours paid personal time. (Eligible after one satisfactory year with DMC) with an additional 8 hours accrued per year.
  • Paid federal holidays.
