Responsibilities

* Food preparation & execution for high-volume scratch kitchen.

* Participates with food preparation of in-house and catered events.

* Follows recipes, portion controls & presentation specifications.

* Maintains a sanitary environment in the BOH.

* Responsible for ensuring that the cleaning, sanitation & organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers and all storage areas are kept in compliance with restaurant standards and health regulations.

* Adheres to proper storage and hierarchy of food.

Qualifications

· Minimum of (2) years kitchen experience.

· Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.

· Has understanding and knowledge of how to properly use and maintain all equipment in the kitchen.

· Ability to understand and follow directions from others.

· Ability to read recipes and memorize and replicate food production procedures.
