We are seeking an innately creative, organized and collaborative
Lead Designer
to join our marketing team and craft our visual communication across digital and print mediums. The Lead Designer will work alongside the sales and brand teams to shape and maintain the visual identity of multiple brands under the St. Louis Music umbrella, ensuring consistency, quality and impact in all marketing materials.

Salary Range:
$55,000-$70,000, commensurate with experience

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with the sales, marketing and brand teams to conceptualize, design and execute visual assets for campaigns across all marketing channels, ensuring alignment with individual brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
  • Establish brand identities across a diverse portfolio of music instrument brands, ensuring cohesive visual storytelling and consistency in tone and presentation.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously from concept to completion, meeting deadlines while upholding high standards of creativity and quality.
  • Design a wide range of materials, including but not limited to email campaigns, digital ads, social graphics, website content, packaging, trade show materials, product guides, flyers and catalogs.
  • Organize and maintain a library of digital assets including logos, templates, product images and marketing collateral.
  • Provide design direction and feedback to junior creatives, freelancers or contractors when needed.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign are essential, After Effects and Premiere Pro are a plus).
  • UX/UI experience and familiarity with other design tools is a plus.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design skills across variety of formats.
  • Experience leading design projects and overseeing visual brand execution preferred.
  • Familiarity and openness to incorporating emerging technologies and AI-powered tools to enhance efficiency and creative output is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills.
