PSE's New Product Development team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Administrative Specialist position
Specific details regarding the work arrangements for this position will be discussed in further detail during the interview process.
Job DescriptionThe Administrative Specialist is responsible for providing administrative and analytical support for the department. This individual will perform basic data gathering or research in support of management, as well as pick up mail and checks weekly in the office. They will process invoices and enter them in SAP, enter purchase orders in SAP, order office supplies for staff, ensure staff has access to required systems, submit access requests, and organize and coordinate meetings for department personnel. The Administrative Specialist will create purchase requisitions for temporary staffing and ensure contracts with service providers remain up to date. They will handle sensitive and confidential information, use independent and discretionary judgement, and coordinate tasks and assignments simultaneously, as well as interact at the Officer level with professionalism. This individual will also be responsible for using various computer applications to create charts, correspondences, reports, and other work as needed.
The Administrative Specialist will uphold the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE's operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities, as well as promote and support a culture of total safety.
The individual in this role will demonstrate a commitment to conduct business honestly, ethically and consistent with our core values and Code of Conduct. They will ensure duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations.
Job Responsibilities- Enters time for department personnel.
- Inputs and retrieves data from various computer applications.
- Gathers and organizes paperwork and data for department.
Handles travel arrangements for department personnel.
Maintains office supply inventory.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School education or equivalent.
- Extensive experience using word-processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software.
- Previous administrative support experience.
- Experience working in a utility.
- Experience working in SAP and/or Ariba.
- Experience editing and reviewing vendor contract documents.
- Adaptable and professional interpersonal communication skills.

The pay range for this position is $51, $79,800.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses.
